In the atmosphere towards the 80th Anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80), officers, soldiers and technicians of the helicopter demonstration force are entering the peak days at Hoa Lac airport, Hanoi .
After the health check, the pilots had a flight briefing, thoroughly understood the ideology and conducted training flights according to plan.
Today, the weather in Hanoi is sunny, the temperature is about 28 - 36 degrees Celsius, the sky is clear, although there is a bit of fog in the early morning, favorable for training.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Manh Hung, deputy chief of staff of Regiment 916, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force, assessed that in the capital, many factors such as unstable weather and many high-rise buildings can affect the flight process, so flight crews and groups continuously strengthen their theoretical knowledge and coordination with the formation.
"The requirements of the State-level mission are very high, so we are determined to be mentally, psychologically, physically ready and to forge a strong character," affirmed Lieutenant Colonel Hung.
According to the deputy chief of staff, in mission A80, the helicopters will fly in a formation of 3 vertical and 3 horizontal rows, different from the missions at the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (A50), the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (A70), and the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition. At that time, the pilots flew in an arrow formation.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Manh Hung, the flight plan is expected to have about 50 pilots. These are the best, highly trained, experienced, with good flying skills, spirit and ideology.
Meanwhile, Captain Nguyen Dinh Luan - 33 years old, deputy squadron leader, chief of staff of squadron 1, Regiment 916, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force - expressed his feelings of pride, excitement, and anxiety because the A80 mission was very special and had a high responsibility.
As a young pilot, in addition to constantly studying theory and flight techniques, he is supported, cared for, and encouraged by his comrades, teammates, and family to complete the A80 mission well and safely in response to the respect and love of the people.
