Accordingly, the Drug Administration of Vietnam suspended the circulation and recalled nationwide 7 products of Dong Nam Global Pharmaceutical Company Limited (the organization responsible for bringing the products to market) located at No. 12, Lane 40, Nguyen Chinh, Tan Mai Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi.
Specifically including: Product ME LINE 01 CAUCASIAN SKIN (registration number 243285/24/CBMP-QLD issued on July 11, 2024); INNOAESTHETICS INNO-TDS XEROSKIN-ID (registration number 234983/24/CBMP-QLD issued on May 5, 2024); INNOAESTHETICS INNO-DERMA DARK SPOT ERASER 24H CREAM (registration number 234976/24/CBMP-QLD issued on May 5, 2024); INNOAESTHETICS INNO-EXFO REDNESS PEEL (registration number 240521/24/CBMP-QLD issued on June 6, 2024).
Products INNOAESTHETICS INNO-EXFO TCAGE (registration number 247909/24/CBMP-QLD issued on August 20, 2024); INNOAESTHETICS INNO-EXFO SKIN RECOVERY (registration number 242690/24/CBMP-QLD issued on July 7, 2024); ME LINE 02 CAUCASIAN SKIN NIGHT (registration number 236277/24/CBMP-QLD issued on May 16, 2024).
The Drug Administration of Vietnam said the reason for the recall was because the formula of these products was incorrect compared to the published records.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and cities to urgently notify cosmetic businesses and users to immediately stop trading and using the above products; organize recall, monitor and strictly handle violators.
Dong Nam Global Pharmaceutical Company Limited must promptly send recall notices to all distribution points, receive returned products from business establishments and proceed to recall and destroy all substandard products.
The Drug Administration also announced that it would temporarily stop reviewing and accepting cosmetic product declaration dossiers for Toan Cau Dong Nam Pharmaceutical Company Limited for a period of 6 months. All dossiers requesting the issuance of cosmetic product declaration receipt numbers submitted by the company before the date of issuance of the document are also no longer valid.
On the same day, the Drug Administration of Vietnam also announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of two cosmetics: Aquafresh Soft Mint, registration number 264128/25/CBMP-QLD issued on January 22, 2025 and Aquafresh Clear Mint, registration number 264127/25/CBMP-QLD issued on January 22, 2025. The product was announced and distributed by Phat Anh Minh Company Limited (Tu Hiep Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi ).
According to the Drug Administration, the reason for the recall is that these cosmetic products are being circulated with labels that do not meet product labeling regulations.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users to immediately stop selling and using the above two products. At the same time, organize the recall, monitor and strictly handle violators according to current regulations.
