Firm action will be taken, with no exceptions.
With the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions," the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and embezzlement has been decisively led and directed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Board, and the Provincial Steering Committee for Preventing and Combating Corruption, Waste, and Embezzlement, achieving many positive results and contributing to maintaining discipline and order within the political system.
The Steering Committee has issued numerous directives to strengthen control over waste in land management, public assets, investment in construction, and the implementation of projects. To date, the Steering Committee is monitoring and directing the handling of 32 cases, including 17 cases recommended by the Central Government and 15 cases under provincial supervision. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, the Steering Committee concluded monitoring one case; simultaneously, it reviewed hundreds of construction projects and land-related properties and continued to direct the handling of the remaining 31 cases.
Inspection and auditing work has been intensified, promptly detecting and rectifying many shortcomings and limitations. All levels and sectors have implemented a comprehensive approach to practicing thrift and combating waste in budget management, public procurement, and construction investment. The control of assets and income of officials and those in positions of power continues to be rigorously implemented; the recovery of assets in corruption and economic crime cases has received focused attention and guidance.

The achievements demonstrate the province's strong political determination in building a clean and strong administrative apparatus; and at the same time, create an important foundation for implementing new tasks and solutions in the spirit of Resolution No. 04.
Controlling power, preventing problems early and proactively.
To concretize Resolution No. 04 on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and embezzlement in the new period, the Provincial Party Committee issued Action Program No. 24-CTr/TU dated May 7, 2026, with appropriate tasks and solutions. The Provincial Party Committee is determined to implement comprehensive solutions to prevent and combat corruption, waste, and embezzlement so that "corruption is impossible, not dared, not wanted, and not needed," contributing to building a clean and strong apparatus to serve rapid and sustainable development.
One of the key tasks the province is focusing on is perfecting institutions, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, and strictly controlling power. All levels and sectors continue to review, amend, and supplement regulations that are still inadequate; promote transparency in public service; enhance the accountability of leaders; and strictly enforce the declaration and control of assets and income of officials and those in positions of power. At the same time, the province is determined to eliminate the "request-and-grant" mechanism, prevent policy corruption, vested interests, and other negative manifestations in policy formulation and implementation.

In particular, the control of power within the two-tiered local government apparatus, especially in sensitive areas prone to corruption and misconduct, is emphasized. Personnel management is conducted openly and objectively; cases of incompetence, irresponsibility, or signs of corruption and misconduct will be considered for replacement or severely punished.
Recognizing prevention as the fundamental and long-term solution, Lam Dong will accelerate administrative reform, digital transformation, and the development of online public services to enhance transparency in handling administrative procedures; strengthen self-inspection and supervision at the grassroots level to detect and handle violations early and remotely. Inspection, supervision, and auditing work in areas and localities prone to corruption, waste, and fraud will be intensified; and strict and impartial handling will be carried out without exception or any forbidden zones.
The province places special emphasis on the exemplary role of officials and Party members, especially those in leadership positions; building a culture of integrity throughout society; and promoting the role of the press, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and the people in social supervision and criticism, detecting and denouncing acts of corruption and embezzlement.
At the 4th session of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Law Enforcement, and Financial Crimes, Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee, emphasized the key tasks of tightly controlling power, tightening discipline and order; strengthening management of sensitive areas such as minerals and budget utilization; and promoting the application of technology to shift strongly from risk management to risk prevention.
