Part 1: Finding sources from villages and hamlets

Training young Party members

Alongside addressing the shortage of Party members in rural areas, Party committees at all levels in the province are focusing on quality from the outset. Each Party member admitted in a village or hamlet is not only a new member of the Party organization, but also works alongside comrades in the branch to propagate, mobilize, and lead the people in carrying out political tasks in the locality.

Returning to the story in Phong Tho commune, after being admitted, many young Party members continue to affirm their role in community activities. They are not only implementers of policies but also bridges between the Party branch and the people. Party member Tan Phu Chien (Son Binh village Party branch) is a prime example. He not only actively works alongside other Party members to disseminate the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws, as well as the province's directives and resolutions, but also serves as a role model in economic development and preserving the traditional cultural identity of the Dao ethnic group.

Creating a pool of grassroots cadres

In Sin Ho commune, facing difficulties in recruiting new members, the commune Party Committee determined that improving the quality of the Party organization must begin with building a deep pool of Party members. Those selected not only receive education and training on Party principles but are also tested through specific tasks in the locality.

Mr. Mùa A Tủa (a Party member of the Sà Dề Phìn village Party branch) is one of the individuals the Party branch has focused on nurturing. After a period of training, he was officially admitted to the Party and continues to affirm his role in the village's activities.

Mr. Tua shared: “I am very honored to have received the attention and support of the Party branch to join the ranks of the Party. I will strive to train myself, strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, and work together with the Party branch to build a stronger Party.”

According to the Party Committee of the commune, Comrade Tủa is a candidate for the position of the new village head in the near future.

Thus, developing Party members in rural areas is a long journey, requiring perseverance, creativity, and responsibility from Party committees at all levels. When these "seeds" of Party members in rural areas are nurtured with the attention of the Party organization, with a practical training environment, and with the trust of the people, they will increasingly mature, becoming a solid foundation for building and developing villages and homelands.
