After the National Assembly held the closing session of the 5th session on the afternoon of June 24, the Secretary General of the National Assembly chaired a press conference to announce the results of the 6th session of the 5th National Assembly.
Information to the press, Director of the Information Department (Office of the National Assembly) Hoang Thi Lan Nhung said that after 23 working days (the first session from May 1 to June 22; the second phase from June 5 to June 10), with the spirit of innovation, solidarity, democracy, intelligence, urgency and high responsibility, the 6th session, the 2th National Assembly completed the entire program.
At the session, the National Assembly passed 8 laws and 17 resolutions, gave opinions for the second time on 2 law project, gave opinions for the first time on 1 other bills; thematic supreme supervision "The mobilization, management and use of resources for the prevention and control of the Covid-8 epidemic; the implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health and preventive medicine”; conduct questioning and answer questions; consider and decide on personnel, socio-economic and state budget issues; review voter petition reports and address voter petitions among other important matters.
