On the afternoon of March 7th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, in coordination with Saigon Medical Group, held a signing ceremony to implement a program providing free eye examinations, treatment, and consultations for the poor and disadvantaged in the province, from 2025 to 2030.

Attending the ceremony were the Vice Chairpersons of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, including Mr. Nguyen Xuan Men and Ms. Dinh Thi Bac, along with leaders of departments and agencies in the province; and leaders of Saigon Medical Group and Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital.
Accordingly, the agreement between the two parties focuses on promoting eye health care for the community through activities such as eye examinations, screenings for eye diseases, and free medication; and supporting the cost of cataract surgery for disadvantaged people in the province during the period 2025-2030.

At the signing ceremony, Saigon Song Han Eye Hospital, representing the Saigon Medical Group system, donated 10,000 free eye examinations and 120 free cataract surgeries for underprivileged patients in the province, with a total value of 1 billion VND.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province also awarded a Certificate of Commendation to Saigon Medical Group for its achievements in social welfare work in Quang Ngai province.
