According to the An Giang Provincial Tourism Association, exceeding the 2025 target was achieved early thanks to the strong recovery of domestic tourism, especially festival and spiritual tourism such as the Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac Festival (Ha Tien), the Ba Chua Xu Festival (Chau Doc), and the commemoration of national hero Nguyen Trung Truc (Rach Gia)... Notably, Phu Quoc continues to play a leading role in growth, with diverse tourism products and the arrival of the new airline Sun Phu Quoc Airways, contributing to stimulating tourism demand.

In addition, the launch of new attractions, along with all-inclusive, reasonably priced tourism packages and short-term resort tours from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, etc., to Phu Quoc, has attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists.

To welcome the influx of tourists at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, tourism businesses in the province are focusing on improving service quality, innovating products, emphasizing human resource training, enhancing foreign language skills, and improving service culture. This is an important preparatory step for An Giang to achieve its goal of welcoming over 39.5 million tourists by 2030, including more than 3 million international visitors, with total revenue exceeding 108,450 billion VND, gradually affirming its position as an attractive tourist destination with its own unique identity in the ASEAN region.
