Ancient rhododendron forest on Putaleng mountain (Lai Chau)

The opening ceremony of the Putaleng festival is scheduled to be held on the evening of November 22nd and the highlight is the announcement of the Decision to recognize the ancient rhododendron forest on Putaleng mountain as the largest in Vietnam. Along with that is an art performance imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic people of Tam Duong district. The art performance combines elements of music , cinema, lighting effects and stage.

The dance scenes introduce the land and people of Tam Duong, Lai Chau - a land with vast rhododendron forests, year-round flowing water wheels.
