The opening ceremony of the Putaleng Festival is scheduled for the evening of November 22nd, with the highlight being the announcement of the Decision recognizing the ancient rhododendron forest on Putaleng Mountain as the largest in Vietnam. This will be followed by an artistic performance showcasing the rich cultural identity of the ethnic groups in Tam Duong district. The performance will combine elements of music , film, lighting effects, and stage design.

The dance performances showcase the land and people of Tam Duong, Lai Chau - a land with vast rhododendron forests and year-round flowing waterwheels.
