Lam Dong connects KOLs and social network administrators for the first time

On the afternoon of August 15, Lam Dong Provincial Police organized a conference to meet and connect social media influencers (KOLs), administrators of pages, channels, and online groups.

This is the first time Lam Dong province has organized a gathering of individuals who are playing a role in spreading and leading information on digital platforms.

In Lam Dong, currently KOLs, content creators, administrators of community groups, Facebook fanpages, TikTok, YouTube... are actively operating in many fields such as tourism, cuisine , culture, agricultural business... with a total following of tens of millions of views.

The conference aims to promote laws on cyber security and personal data protection, while connecting and promoting the role of KOLs and administrators in spreading positive and humane information.

Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said that KOLs and administrators of pages, channels, and groups are among the factors that play a very important role, directly impacting and influencing the work of ensuring security in cyberspace in the locality.

The conference is an opportunity for administrators to equip themselves with the necessary legal knowledge to serve their activities in cyberspace, as well as orient themselves in building content, managing pages, channels, and groups in compliance with legal regulations.

Representatives of social networking forums signed a commitment to comply with the law and practice responsible communication in cyberspace.

Lieutenant Colonel Vu Hoang Anh, Head of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (PA05), Lam Dong Provincial Police shared some skills and solutions to build a safe cyberspace, including skills to identify fake news, protect personal accounts and data, and civilized behavior online. In addition, there are skills to detect early and report to authorities when seeing harmful information, fake news, and fraudulent behavior. Lam Dong Provincial Police launched the model "Safe and healthy Lam Dong digital space", creating a forum connecting KOLs, administrators with the police force, state management agencies and businesses.
