Lam Dong province merges Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province issued a decision to merge Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School in Don Duong district.

On March 4th, the Office of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province announced that Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, had signed a decision on the merger of Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School (Don Duong District).

Le Loi High School, established in 1989, has over 35 years of history and development, having educated many generations of local students. Don Duong High School, established in 1985, is an educational institution with consistently high-quality training, ranking among the top in Lam Dong province. For many years, Don Duong High School has consistently had some of the highest entrance exam scores for public high schools in the entire province.

According to the decision, Don Duong High School will take over all personnel from Le Loi High School; and will arrange and assign staff from Le Loi High School according to the delegated authority. Regarding facilities, the existing facilities, finances, assets, equipment, tools, documents, and records of Le Loi High School will be transferred to Don Duong High School for continued management and use in accordance with regulations.

All students from Le Loi High School will transfer to Don Duong High School.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has instructed the Lam Dong Department of Education and Training to retrieve the seal of Le Loi High School and hand it over to the responsible agency for management after the merger procedures are completed according to regulations. This should be completed in the first quarter of 2025.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Don Duong High School has 886 students and 53 staff members (including 45 teachers); Le Loi High School has 40 staff members.

The merger of Le Loi High School into Don Duong High School is in line with the practical situation and meets the requirements for the development of education and training in Don Duong District in particular and Lam Dong Province in general.
