'Enrich' people's spiritual life

Over the past 5 years, Thai Nguyen province has paid special attention to cultural and entertainment activities. During holidays, Tet, and major political events, the province has directed relevant agencies to coordinate in organizing cultural and entertainment programs to serve the people's enjoyment needs. Through these cultural and entertainment programs, they have contributed to "enriching" the spiritual life of the people in the province.

Cultural activities are organized annually by Phan Dinh Phung ward on holidays.

Most recently - on the occasion of National Day September 2, Thai Nguyen organized a cultural program with the theme "The heroic spirit of the river - Vietnam's aspiration" simultaneously at 3 locations in the province. Specifically, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung Ward; Van Xuan Square, Van Xuan Ward and Song Cau walking street, Bac Kan Ward.

With the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country and the cause of innovation and development of Thai Nguyen land, the art program attracted the attention of many people.

Ms. Le Thi Duyen, group 90, Phan Dinh Phung ward shared: I am very happy to enjoy the art program at Vo Nguyen Giap square on the occasion of National Day. Never before have art activities in Thai Nguyen been as exciting as in recent years.

Right after the National Day art program, Thai Nguyen continues to prepare for the art program to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 with the theme "Proud of the glorious Party - Firmly stepping into the new era", scheduled to be held at 7:30 p.m. on September 23 (at Vo Nguyen Giap Square and Song Cau walking street). The program promises to bring to Thai Nguyen people unique and attractive singing, dancing and music performances.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, Group 20, Quan Trieu Ward shared: We are really looking forward to this special art program. Through the mass media, we know that not only can people come to watch the program in person, but they can also watch the live broadcast on Thai Nguyen Newspaper, Radio and Television. Enjoying the art programs gives us more positive energy and makes us love our homeland and country more and more.

In reality, cultural activities organized by the province and localities on the occasion of holidays, Tet, and major political events of the country and Thai Nguyen are increasingly receiving attention in both scale and quality.

Many art programs have the participation of hundreds of artists and actors (such as the program “Heroic Spirit of the River - Vietnam’s Aspiration” on the occasion of the recent National Day, each location has from 200 to over 300 actors participating). Accordingly, the number of people coming to watch art programs is always in the 8 digits.

Besides, in the province there are also community cultural activities with many artistic events attracting a large audience, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, will to rise and aspiration for development of the people.

Typical of these activities are mass cultural programs held in residential groups, hamlets, villages; communes on the occasion of Lunar New Year; International Women's Day (March 8) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20); National Great Unity Day (November 18)... Ms. Dang Thi Hoa, group 90, Phan Dinh Phung ward said: Although it is a "homegrown" cultural program, each performance is very lively and well received by the people.

In addition to large-scale art performances and community cultural activities, Thai Nguyen also has singing, dancing, musical and drama programs, and plays participating in national festivals, enriching Thai Nguyen's cultural activities.

It can be affirmed that cultural and artistic activities in Thai Nguyen are increasingly rich and attractive. In fact, with its available potential and advantages, Thai Nguyen can develop tourism associated with cultural and artistic activities, especially art programs with the typical mountain and forest sounds of the Viet Bac region.
