| Cultural and artistic activities are organized annually by Phan Dinh Phung ward on various holidays. |
Most recently, on the occasion of National Day on September 2nd, Thai Nguyen organized a cultural program with the theme "The Spirit of the Nation - The Aspiration of Vietnam" simultaneously at three locations in the province. Specifically, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung Ward; Van Xuan Square, Van Xuan Ward; and Song Cau pedestrian street, Bac Kan Ward.
With themes praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, the country, and the renewal and development of Thai Nguyen province, the art program attracted the attention of a large number of people.
Ms. Le Thi Duyen, from Group 90, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, shared: "I was very happy to enjoy the art program at Vo Nguyen Giap Square on National Day. Never before have cultural and artistic activities in Thai Nguyen been as vibrant as in recent years."
Immediately following the National Day celebration, Thai Nguyen is preparing for the art program to welcome the First Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, with the theme "Proud of the Glorious Party - Steadfastly Marching into a New Era," scheduled to be held at 7:30 PM on September 23rd (at Vo Nguyen Giap Square and Song Cau pedestrian street). The program promises to bring the people of Thai Nguyen unique and captivating singing, dancing, and musical performances.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, from Group 20, Quan Trieu Ward, shared: "We are very much looking forward to this special art program. Through the media, we learned that not only can people attend the program in person, but they can also watch it live on Thai Nguyen Newspaper and Radio & Television. Enjoying art programs gives us more positive energy and makes us love our homeland and country even more."
In reality, cultural and artistic activities organized by the province and localities on the occasion of holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and major political events of the country and of Thai Nguyen are increasingly receiving attention in terms of both scale and quality.
Many art programs feature hundreds of artists and performers (such as the "Spirit of the Rivers - Aspiration of Vietnam" program during the recent National Day, with each venue having between 200 and over 300 performers). Consequently, the number of people attending these art programs consistently reaches eight figures.
In addition, the province also hosts community cultural activities with many artistic events that attract large audiences, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, the will to strive, and the aspirations for development of the people.
Typical examples of these activities include mass cultural and artistic programs organized in residential areas, hamlets, and villages; and in communes on the occasion of Lunar New Year; International Women's Day (March 8th) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20th); and the National Unity Day (November 18th)... Ms. Dang Thi Hoa, from group 90, Phan Dinh Phung ward, said: Although the cultural and artistic programs are "homegrown," each performance is very lively and is well received by the people.
In addition to large-scale art performances and community cultural activities, Thai Nguyen also has singing, dancing, and theatrical performances, with plays participating in national festivals, which have enriched the artistic activities of Thai Nguyen.
It can be affirmed that cultural and artistic activities in Thai Nguyen are becoming increasingly rich and attractive. In fact, with its existing potential and advantages, Thai Nguyen can develop tourism linked to cultural and artistic activities, especially artistic programs reflecting the distinctive mountain and forest atmosphere of the Viet Bac region.
