On December 30, 2008, the Bo Bo relic was ranked as a provincial-level revolutionary historical relic by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province. Then, on March 12, the Bo Bo victory site was once again recognized as a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In order to promote the value of the relic, arouse the pride and revolutionary fighting spirit among the people, in recent times, besides promoting propaganda and introducing local history, Dien Ban town has unanimously approved the investment policy to build a relic park in the Bo Bo victory monument area. Specifically, the monument area will be renovated, upgraded and expanded to about 2.1 hectares, with an investment cost of 25 billion VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee said that since 2022, the project has been included in the investment portfolio by the Town People's Council. The People's Committee has also assigned the Town Investment and Construction Project Management Board to study and work with relevant parties to determine the boundary, set up markers, convert land use purposes, and divide relic areas... because part of the project area is related to national defense land.

The problem became even more difficult when on March 12, the Bo Bo victory site was ranked as a national monument by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. At this time, the process and procedures for investing and renovating the relic park were under the authority of the province, including the opinion of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, causing the project implementation time to be longer.

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Dien Ban town, although the general planning includes the Bo Bo relic park, the most difficult thing right now is capital, procedures and land because most of the park area is located on military land.

Besides, because the park is not an urgent project to prioritize investment capital, the project will have to wait.

“In recent years, due to budget deficit, Dien Ban has mainly focused its capital on investing in essential projects such as traffic infrastructure... so the renovation and construction of Bo Bo Relic Park, although very meaningful, will probably take longer,” informed a representative of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Dien Ban town.

Located at an altitude of 55m above sea level, Bo Bo hill with an area of over 200ha is likened to a miniature Da Lat thanks to its cool green Caribbean pine forest. From the top of the hill, you can see the vast area of Dien Ban town, Dai Loc district and Da Nang city.

Traveling to Bo Bo is not only a journey back to the past to learn about the achievements of our ancestors, but also an experience of exploring nature and enjoying the peaceful space.

In 2006, Phuoc Tien General Trading Company Limited (Da Nang) invested in tourism in Bo Bo (50ha). After many adjustments, the remaining project area is about 11ha, however, due to many factors such as resources, land issues... the tourist area has not been completed yet.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang said: "The town has assigned the Department of Culture and Information to review related procedures and legal documents, only then will there be solutions to promote the development of Bo Bo tourism."
