The opening of the community Ao Dai week was an Ao Dai performance event held inside An Dinh Palace with the participation of many international guests. Many people were amazed by the combined values ​​that create the brand of Hue, which are Ao Dai, music and heritage.

According to the Organizing Committee, the community Ao Dai week aims to honor the traditional beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai. Not only that, the event also aims to promote tourism development, promote the image of Hue land and people to domestic and international friends. In addition, it also connects the community through artistic activities, parades, talks, exhibitions, sports and education.

Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, said that promoting the value of traditional costume heritage, focusing on Ao Dai and building the brand "Hue - Capital of Ao Dai Vietnam" is actually a story of reviving a typical cultural heritage of Hue, bringing that heritage into contemporary life, and letting it shine as it once did. Moreover, the shine of "Capital of Ao Dai" is not only a cultural brand, but also for the sustainable development of Hue, a land very rich in heritage.

According to Mr. Hai, the industry is promoting the development of heritage tourism models associated with Ao Dai and traditional Hue costumes. The effective combination of protecting and promoting the heritage value of Ao Dai and traditional Hue costumes associated with tourism and service development will be a great advantage for the sustainable tourism development in the ancient capital of Hue.

To do that, it is necessary to invest from the budget and socialized resources, at the same time implementing programs and activities to develop the Hue Ao Dai brand and royal and folk costumes such as: Ao Dai festivals at festivals, businesses organizing Ao Dai shows, Hue Ao Dai exhibitions... "By doing that, we will affirm that the Ao Dai and traditional costumes brand has entered the cultural life and become a typical tourism product of Hue", Mr. Hai emphasized.
