Spreading the "Popular Education Movement" to every citizen.

After a year of implementation, the "Digital Literacy Movement" in Phu Tho province has gradually created a clear transformation in the digital awareness and skills of officials, Party members, and citizens, contributing to promoting the digital transformation process in the locality.

According to assessments at the Conference on the Implementation of Plan No. 16 of the Provincial Party Committee on the "Digital Literacy Movement," Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have proactively issued plans and organized their implementation synchronously, gradually making digital skills essential in work and life.

Through this movement, numerous digital skills training activities have been implemented targeting officials, civil servants, public employees, youth, workers, and ethnic minorities. The content focuses on using online public services, digital platforms, electronic payments, and ensuring cybersecurity.

Public awareness campaigns have also been intensified across various media outlets, digital platforms, and grassroots information systems to enhance people's understanding of digital transformation and digital skills. Many models supporting digital learning and providing digital skills training at the grassroots level are gradually proving effective, helping people access technology more easily.

Initial results show that the "Digital Literacy Movement" is becoming one of the important solutions to popularize digital knowledge, narrow the digital divide between regions, and contribute to building a digital government, digital society, and digital economy at the local level.

This orientation is also consistent with the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. In this resolution, developing digital skills for the entire population, popularizing digital knowledge, and enhancing the capacity to access technology are identified as crucial foundations for promoting sustainable digital transformation.

Besides the achievements, Phu Tho province also frankly acknowledges some difficulties in the implementation process, such as disparities in access to technology between regions and limited replication of effective models in some localities.
