Lang Son makes a breakthrough in tourism development.

By 2026, Lang Son province aims to attract 4.7 million tourists. Total tourism revenue is expected to reach approximately 4,900 billion VND.

On the afternoon of December 18th, at the conference summarizing the work of 2025 and implementing key tasks for 2026, the Director of the Department of Culture , Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province, Nguyen Dang An, stated that in 2025, more than 4.4 million tourists visited Lang Son, an increase of 5.3% compared to 2024; of which, international tourists reached 305,000, an increase of 114% compared to the same period. Total revenue from tourism is estimated to reach over 4,500 billion VND.

By 2026, Lang Son province aims to attract 4.7 million tourists. Total tourism revenue is projected to reach approximately 4,900 billion VND. To achieve this goal, the province will focus on developing tourism infrastructure; creating unique tourism products and destinations; and maintaining and developing ecotourism, cultural and historical tourism, and community-based tourism.

Lang Son also focuses on developing its night-time economy to stimulate consumption and extend the length of stay for tourists. The province collaborates with northern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City to develop tourism tours and routes, aiming for sustainable tourism development.
