This is one of the key activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Party, State and international leaders attended the special art program.
Attending the program were comrades: General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense .
Also attending were the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly ; members of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country; leaders of central and local departments, ministries and branches; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroes of the People's Armed Forces.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech of the program.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: “Over the past 80 years, culture and art have accompanied the nation, creating a source of nourishment for the soul, strength, spirit and will of Vietnam. The special art program “80 years of the journey of Independence-Freedom-Happiness” not only performed musical works, dances, echoing profound verses, but also expressed deep gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland “The resistance has won the country back for life/ The shadow of the country is like the shadow of my child” as the lyrics in the song “Mother loves child”.
Music is a magical bridge, where the love of a mother is immense and protective; where the “Aspirations of Youth” and the passionate, burning love of couples blend in the sacred and immortal love of the Fatherland. When the music plays, people’s hearts will come together to join hands in solidarity to build Vietnam to become increasingly powerful, prosperous, free and happy.
The art program is structured into 3 chapters: “The Road to Independence - Reunification”; “Aspiration for the Fatherland” and “My Fatherland, Never So Beautiful”. Each part is a piece of history, creating a comprehensive picture of the journey of building and protecting the country.


Art performances in "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".
The art space was invested in a grand and elaborate staging, bringing the audience back to the arduous but heroic years of the nation. The symphony “My Fatherland” and the medley “Volunteer - Praising the Fatherland” opened the program, arousing pride and emotion.
Reports and animations such as: "Dark Night of History", "Long Night of Slavery", along with immortal songs "Footprints Ahead", "The Internationale", "Together We Go Red Soldiers" and "National Guard" depicted the seething revolutionary spirit, urging millions of hearts to share the desire for independence.
In particular, excerpts from President Ho Chi Minh's immortal Declaration of Independence echoed in the artistic space, bringing the audience back to the historic moment of September 2, 1945.
Songs such as: "Nguoi Ha Noi", "Song Lo", "Victory of Dien Bien" along with the scene of liberation of the South with the melody "The Country is Full of Joy" recreated historical milestones: Dien Bien Phu Victory 1954, Great Spring Victory 1975, unification of the country.
The program features performances by many famous artists such as: Thanh Lam, Tung Duong, Den, My Tam, rapper Double 2T, Hoang Bach, Soobin Hoang Son... bringing a vibrant atmosphere, modern music mixed with folk songs, symphonies, creating a bridge between the past and the present, sending the message: The aspiration to build a strong country is the responsibility and belief of the whole nation.

A large audience cheered at the special music night celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The program ended with the heroic sound of the song "Tien Quan Ca", like a sacred oath: Vietnam - Eternal Fatherland, everlasting nation.
"80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is not only an art night, but also a tribute to the generations who sacrificed, while affirming the mettle, will and eternal aspiration of the Vietnamese people.
