At the meeting, held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, extended her best wishes to Venerable Thich Ban Luong and all the venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers for a peaceful and united Vesak season and for continued partnership in the development of the province.
Regarding the socio -economic situation of the locality after the implementation of the two-tiered local government model, Ms. Dinh Thi Lua stated that Ninh Binh province has basically stabilized its organizational structure, maintained positive growth momentum, and created a foundation for a new development phase. In the first quarter of 2026, the province's gross domestic product is estimated to increase by 11.63% compared to the same period last year, ranking second nationwide and leading the Red River Delta region.

According to provincial leaders, along with economic growth, cultural, social, and social welfare sectors continue to receive attention; national defense and security are maintained; and administrative reform and digital transformation are accelerated to improve the efficiency of services for citizens and businesses.
Ms. Dinh Thi Lua affirmed that the achievements were made possible thanks to the positive contributions of Buddhist followers in the province, and expressed her hope that religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhists would continue to uphold the tradition of "protecting the nation and ensuring the people's well-being," effectively implement the motto "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism," and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and local campaigns.
On behalf of the monks, nuns, and local Buddhists, Venerable Thich Ban Luong expressed gratitude for the provincial leaders' attention to the activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Ninh Binh province. He also affirmed that they will continue to encourage monks, nuns, and Buddhists to abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, contributing to the building of cultural life and socio-economic development of the locality.
On this occasion, the provincial delegation presented flowers to congratulate Venerable Thich Ban Luong and other venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers at Thi Son Pagoda on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist Calendar 2570.
