Authorities recorded images of vehicles illegally parked on the sidewalk of Ngo Quyen Street.

The campaign was launched throughout the ward, focusing on the roads surrounding Hue Central Hospital, Bui Thi Xuan Street, and market areas such as An Cuu, Hai Ba Trung, Truong An, and Ben Ngu – places where encroachment on sidewalks and roads, illegal parking, and other issues frequently occur, detracting from urban aesthetics and affecting traffic safety.

Following the ban on parking on several key roads such as Hai Ba Trung, Tran Cao Van, Ngo Quyen, and Le Loi, the urban order and traffic safety situation has seen many positive changes; however, the re-encroachment of sidewalks for trading still occurs when there is no patrol or inspection force.

The ward mobilized maximum resources, equipment, and manpower to implement comprehensive solutions to definitively address violations of urban order and traffic safety. This included focusing on rectifying the situation of businesses encroaching on sidewalks, arranging vehicles according to regulations, ensuring pedestrian walkways, and building a civilized urban lifestyle. Functional forces organized awareness campaigns, issued warnings, and handled violations on many streets and market areas; they also participated in encouraging small traders to sign commitments not to encroach on roads and sidewalks for business purposes.

Removing vehicles that violate regulations aims to return the sidewalks to pedestrians and improve the aesthetics of the central area of the ward.

According to Nguyen Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thuan Hoa Ward, UVTV City Party Committee: Ensuring urban order and traffic safety is not only a state management task but also an important political task, linked to improving the quality of people's lives, building a civilized lifestyle, and strengthening people's trust in the local Party committee and government.

Violations of urban planning regulations still occur in many places, and the awareness of law compliance among a segment of the population remains low; a decisive, coordinated, and sustainable effort from the entire political system is needed to create real change.

The ward leaders requested that all units identify this as a key, long-term task; strengthen propaganda and mobilization efforts, and promote the exemplary role of officials and Party members. At the same time, they emphasized maintaining regular inspection and supervision, avoiding the situation of "launching a large-scale campaign and then it subsides," in order to gradually build a clean, civilized, safe, and friendly urban landscape.
