Establish a macroeconomic coordination team.

According to the decision, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang serves as the Head of the Coordination Team; Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung serves as the Deputy Head. The remaining members include leaders from several units under the Ministry of Finance, the Government Office , the State Bank of Vietnam, and representatives from several relevant ministries and agencies.

The Coordinating Team is tasked with advising and supporting the Steering Committee in researching and proposing directions and solutions for addressing important, inter-sectoral issues related to macroeconomic management and administration. Simultaneously, the Team is responsible for monitoring the implementation of assigned work plans and tasks; compiling information, reporting, and making recommendations for the Head of the Steering Committee to consider and decide upon.

In addition, the Coordinating Team will monitor and analyze macroeconomic developments, promptly identifying and forecasting potential risks. Based on this, it will propose solutions to enhance close, synchronized, flexible, and effective coordination between fiscal policy, monetary policy, and other macroeconomic policies. The Team will also advise the Steering Committee to report to the Prime Minister to direct and urge ministries, sectors, and localities to implement tasks and solutions to stabilize the macroeconomic situation.

According to regulations, the Coordinating Team is authorized to proactively organize meetings, workshops, surveys, and research both domestically and internationally; invite experts to provide advice; and implement a research commissioning mechanism in accordance with current regulations. Team members work on a part-time basis, utilizing the existing organizational structure of their respective agencies and units, without creating additional organizational structures or personnel.

The Ministry of Finance is the permanent agency of the Coordinating Committee, with the State Budget Department acting as the focal point for advisory and support roles. The Committee's operating budget is secured from the Ministry of Finance's regular budget and other legitimate financial sources.

The decision takes effect from the date of signing and issuance, and the Coordinating Committee will dissolve itself after completing its assigned tasks.
