Seeking public opinion on the proposal to establish Dam Doi ward.

From May 22nd to 25th, the People's Committee of Dam Doi commune organized a consultation with representatives of households in the area regarding the proposal to establish Dam Doi ward. The proposal aims to improve the administrative organization and meet the development requirements of the new phase.

Dam Doi commune was established by merging Dam Doi town and the two communes of Tan Duyet and Tan Dan, with a natural area of ​​approximately 96.2 km² and a population of over 38,000 people. According to the plan, Dam Doi ward will be established based on the current administrative boundaries of Dam Doi commune.

The process of gathering public opinion on the project was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to each household in the hamlets.

Members of the village task force went to people's homes to explain the Project and distribute feedback forms.

To ensure transparency and democracy, Dam Doi commune has intensified information and propaganda through the public address system, publicly posted the project at the commune People's Committee headquarters, village cultural centers, and community gathering places, and widely disseminated it in meetings of the Party Committee, government, political and social organizations, and residential areas so that people can easily access, study, and participate in providing feedback.

Observations in the area showed that the opinion-gathering process was conducted seriously. Working groups in the hamlets went directly to each house to distribute questionnaires, guide people in filling them out, collect the ballots, count the votes, and compile the results according to regulations.

Excited about the new policy, Mr. Truong Nhat Thang (Tan Thanh hamlet) shared: "I strongly agree with the policy of establishing Dam Doi ward. Becoming a ward will make administrative management more convenient, and infrastructure and roads will be invested in to be more modern and clean. I expect the locality to have breakthroughs in economy , trade, and services, thereby improving the material and spiritual lives of the people."

Through this consultation process, Dam Doi commune aims to create a high level of consensus among all its people. The policy of establishing Dam Doi ward not only enhances the effectiveness of state management but also aligns with the urban and socio-economic development orientation, while ensuring national defense and security in the locality in the new period.
