Accordingly, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan highly appreciated the efforts of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Tay Ho district, and several other units in organizing the Hanoi Lotus Festival for the first time, which was large-scale, impressive, and spread practical values.
Minister Le Minh Hoan met with and offered suggestions to many producers and businesses on innovating packaging design, product identification, and enhancing added value and product quality while leveraging local cultural values to create a unique product identity.
According to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, behind each OCOP product is the joint effort of many people, contributing to activating the rural economy and shifting towards creating products with high added value.
According to Minister Le Minh Hoan, each OCOP product integrates multiple values and embodies pride in local cultural values – a factor that distinguishes the value of OCOP products from different regions.
"Nowadays, people don't buy products anymore; they buy the way those products are created, including the mindset, culture, story, and emotions involved in the creation process," Minister Le Minh Hoan shared.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development also assessed that Hanoi is on the right track in exploiting local cultural values and strengths to develop OCOP products. The introduction and promotion of OCOP products in conjunction with events and festivals are becoming increasingly professional and attractive.
