Mr. Nguyen Dinh Huu, Head of the Management Board and Chief Priest of Lac Thanh Temple, said: This year's Ky Yen (spring festival) will follow the same rituals as in previous years. This festival has spiritual significance, praying for favorable weather, abundant harvests, prosperity, and a strong nation, while also honoring the beautiful traditional culture of the local people. People from the neighborhoods in Lac Thanh town bring offerings to pray for blessings, wealth, fortune, and longevity. The Ky Yen festival has two parts: the ceremony and the festivities. The ceremony includes the procession of the deity's effigy to the temple; offering incense, wine, and tea; and reciting prayers and thanksgiving to the deities. The ceremony is very important and is organized solemnly. Those participating in the ceremony are the elders and respected people in the community. The festivities include a cultural program.

According to Mr. Huu, Lac Tanh communal house dates back to 1940. In 2009, Lac Tanh communal house was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic. In 2020, the communal house was renovated and restored to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the local people.
