The procession of the holy bread in Binh Da village is a traditional ceremony held annually on the 14th day of the 8th lunar month in Binh Da village, Trang Que commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi. The festival takes place for 3 days, from August 12 to 14, attracting a large number of visitors from all over the country. The procession of the holy bread is a unique ceremony expressing the gratitude of the people of Binh Da village to the saints who have blessed the village with peace and bountiful crops. The festival is held with many solemn rituals, including the procession of the holy palanquin, the sacrifice ceremony, the prayer ceremony and entertainment activities.
