The 2023 professional art performance on the theme of National Defense with the theme "Forever the Marching Song" has just ended at the Army Theater (Hanoi). The performance attracted more than 1,500 artists, actors, and musicians from 19 art units, with 21 programs of all kinds of singing, dancing, music, theater, etc. This is one of the key activities organized by the General Department of Politics of the People's Army in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism and specialized associations of literature and art, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 Professional Art Performance on the theme of National Defense awarded Gold Medals to 8 excellent programs and plays; in which the play "Aspiration for Reunion" by author Le Thu Hanh deeply moved the audience when it was performed at the Army Theater.
