A watercolor exhibition inspired by life.

From July 14th to 30th, at the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam National Special Monument, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Cultural and Scientific Activities Center and the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club (HWA) are organizing a watercolor painting exhibition with the theme "Connecting".

Featuring 42 participating artists, along with several guest artists, and over 200 works, the exhibition continues to showcase the serious and professional creativity of artists from various regions. This is also one of HWA's annual activities.

Visitors can experience and appreciate the artworks at the exhibition.

The works on display this time are strongly inspired by everyday life as their creative material. The theme "Connection" helps viewers feel the profound connections between people and their homeland. Street corners or rural areas, highlands or the sea, bridges or the firelight by the hearth show the constant and inseparable connection between humans and nature. The faces have different expressions, but all share a common sense of peace and gentleness. The animal paintings are also incredibly lively and adorable...

Besides the exhibition itself, the event also includes experiential programs such as performances, art talks, community painting sessions, printing on traditional Vietnamese dó paper, and gift-giving to encourage creativity, aiming to enhance interaction and spread artistic inspiration to a wider audience.
