Artist Le Thuy told Tuoi Tre Online that every year, if she's not busy with work, she usually spends a whole month singing at temples during the Vu Lan season.

This year, as planned, she will tour three cities in Canada for about three weeks with singers from the "Footsteps of Two Generations" group, organized by her son, singer Duong Dinh Tri.
"Because I was abroad, I couldn't contact the temples I knew, so as soon as I returned to the country, everyone started calling. Fortunately, from now until the end of the Vu Lan season, I can perform for people at many temples in many provinces and cities, about a dozen shows," Le Thuy said.
She added that while she only sings for about a week during Buddha's Birthday, the Vu Lan season lasts a whole month, with some days she performing 2-3 shows.
Le Thuy shared: "I sing so much, but I don't feel tired. For me, the Vu Lan festival is a beautiful cultural tradition that should be preserved."
