Students in Ho Chi Minh City will have Lunar New Year holiday from February 5, 2024 (December 26) to February 18, 2024 (January 9 of the lunar calendar).
The 2023-2024 school year plan was issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The Lunar New Year holiday schedule is included in the 2023-2024 school year schedule approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for all levels of education from preschool to high school, which specifically stipulates the school opening day, opening ceremony and Lunar New Year holiday schedule.
Ho Chi Minh City also requires schools to end semester 1 before January 15, 2024, complete the second semester education plan before May 25, 2024, and end the school year before May 31, 2024.
