(CLO) In 2025, the Vietnam Circus Federation will introduce nearly 30 outstanding performances to the public, including many socially relevant circus programs.
This information was provided by People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, at the annual customer conference on February 19th.
Accordingly, in 2025, the unit plans to stage and perform new programs for the audience, many of which are linked to major national anniversaries.

A prime example is the program "Epic of the Nation," commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The program took place on April 19 at the Central Circus Theater, and was produced by the Vietnam Circus Federation in collaboration with Vietnam National Defense Television.
Next is the "Lotus" program commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, held in four sessions on May 17th and 18th; the 7th "Walking Through the Years" circus program, commemorating the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th) with the theme "Memories of Truong Son", was held in five sessions from July 25th to 27th.
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the Federation plans to organize a comprehensive circus and music program themed "I Love Vietnam" with 6 performances, taking place from August 30th to September 2nd.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the Vietnam Circus Federation will launch the program "A Ray of Peaceful Sunshine," focusing on portraying the image of the People's Public Security officer. The program is scheduled to have four performances on August 16 and 17.
Also in 2025, the Vietnam Circus Federation will collaborate with the Vietnam Cai Luong Theatre to produce the play "Tran Nhan Tong," scheduled to premiere at the end of 2025.
Specifically, the Federation will collaborate with the Vietnam Traditional Opera Theatre to develop performances that utilize the harmonious blend of two artistic languages: traditional opera and circus arts. These performances combine the makeup and music of traditional opera, but the language of circus arts.

People's Artist Tong Toan Thang further informed that, with the addition of a new cultural institution, the IONAH Performing Arts Center with a capacity of 300 seats within the Central Circus complex, the Federation has planned to implement several special performance programs to attract tourists such as: "Moon River Show"; comedy circus "You Can't Help But Laugh"; International Circus Gala; International Magic Festival…
At the conference, the Vietnam Circus Federation also announced cooperation agreements with tourism companies and event organizers to bring circus art and performances to international circus tours and festivals in Russia, Japan, Germany, China, and other countries.
