Worried about unemployment when studying Microcircuit Design

I want to study Microchip Design but I'm afraid there won't be many jobs and I'll be unemployed after graduation.

According to my research, this industry in Vietnam is not really developed, so I am worried. I want to know if there are many companies recruiting in this field and what is the current basic salary for a microchip designer.

To pursue this career, do I need to practice and learn any additional skills? I hope everyone can advise me.
