Worried about unemployment when studying Microcircuit Design

I want to study Microchip Design but I'm afraid there won't be many jobs and I'll be unemployed after graduation.

According to my research, this industry in Vietnam is not really developed, so I am worried. I want to know if there are many companies recruiting in this field and what is the current basic salary for a microchip designer.

To pursue this career, what skills do I need to practice and learn? I hope everyone can advise me.
