Opinions at the forum all affirmed that cross-border logistics is a “strategic lever” to open up and increase the value of the supply chain in the entire North Central and Central Coast regions.

Many solutions have been proposed such as: Investing in multimodal logistics infrastructure, especially connecting railways with seaports; building international logistics centers associated with key ports, becoming cross-border transit points. At the same time, it is necessary to issue preferential policies to attract goods to ports in the region.

Financial solutions to support businesses

One of the expected solutions is to develop financial leasing in logistics investment. This solution helps small and medium enterprises innovate technology and means to meet ESG standards.

The Government has directed the development of forms of financing that do not require special assets, in which financial leasing is an important tool. This is a new form in the world , and is still limited in Vietnam, but it is an opportunity for businesses to access and effectively use capital, contributing to the development of the industry.

Modern infrastructure and green technology – digital

To enhance the competitiveness of the North Central and Central Coast regions, experts say that there needs to be synchronous coordination between the State, businesses and investors. The focus is on developing modern infrastructure, open institutions, high-quality human resources and green and digital technology.
