According to Fichajes , Atletico Madrid immediately entered the race with ambitions to sign Rashford in the upcoming summer transfer window, with a fee of around 30 million euros.

The management of the Spanish capital club highly values ​​Rashford's speed, strength, and experience, qualities considered to be a perfect fit for coach Diego Simeone's football philosophy.
