Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current prices are as follows: OM 5451 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 5,800 and 6,100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating between 6,400 and 6,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating between 5,000 and 5,200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,400 and 6,600 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 5,400 and 5,600 VND/kg; and Japanese rice is at 7,800 to 8,000 VND/kg. Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 9,200 VND/kg.

Observations in many localities today show a fairly large volume of rice, but buying and selling transactions remain slow. In Hau Giang , rice trading is slow, and rice prices are relatively stable. In An Giang, trading in newly harvested rice is better, with prices slightly increasing, but the volume of transactions is not high.

In Kien Giang , farmers are offering various types of rice at higher prices, but transactions are slow, with some traders remaining cautious and observing the market. In Can Tho, rice prices are trending upwards at the end of the week, with traders buying sporadically again. In Dong Thap, farmers are offering fragrant winter-spring rice at slightly higher prices, attracting more buyers, but no high prices have been agreed upon yet.

Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current prices are as follows: IR 504 raw rice ranges from 7,900-8,000 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice ranges from 7,550-7,700 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice ranges from 8,500-8,600 VND/kg; finished OM 380 rice ranges from 8,800-9,000 VND/kg; and finished IR 504 rice ranges from 9,500-9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, prices range from approximately 5,550 to 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice is priced at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; broken rice (grades 3-4) at 6,100-6,200 VND/kg; and dry rice bran at 5,550 - 5,700 VND/kg, compared to yesterday.

Observations in various localities today show low supply and slow trading activity. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), supplies are arriving sporadically, warehouses are buying steadily, and rice prices are rising. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice prices are also rising, and warehouses are buying steadily.

At Sa Dec market (Dong Thap province), rice supply is low, market transactions are sporadic, warehouses are buying steadily, and prices are slightly increasing. At An Cu (Cai Be district, Tien Giang province), rice is available sporadically, prices are relatively stable, and buying and selling transactions are slow.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice is listed highest at 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice ranges from 15,000 - 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice ranges from 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice is 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice ranges from 18,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at 22,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is 21,000 VND/kg; common white rice is at 17,000 VND/kg; regular Soc rice ranges from 18,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 21,000 VND/kg; and Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices decreased slightly compared to the middle of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken rice is $394/ton; 25% broken rice is $365/ton; and 100% broken rice is $310/ton.
