Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the current price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,800 - 6,100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,000 - 5,200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; Japanese rice was at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is at 9,200 VND/kg.

Recorded in many localities today, the volume is quite good, but the trading is still slow. In Hau Giang , the rice trading is slow, the rice price fluctuates little. In An Giang, the new rice trading is better, the rice price increases slightly but the trading volume is not much.

In Kien Giang , farmers are offering rice of all kinds at increased prices, with few transactions, and some traders are still slow to buy, observing the market. In Can Tho, rice prices are trending up at the end of the week, with traders buying slowly again. In Dong Thap, farmers are offering fragrant Dong Xuan rice at increased prices, with more buyers but not yet closing high prices.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity is small, buying and selling transactions are still slow. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity comes in slowly, warehouses buy steadily, rice prices increase. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice prices increase, warehouses buy steadily.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices decreased slightly compared to mid-week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 394 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 365 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 310 USD/ton.
