TPO - On the evening of February 12th, the Tuyen Quang City Youth Union, Tuyen Quang province, in coordination with the City Military Command and the City's Cultural, Communication and Sports Center, organized a cultural exchange program and traditional campfire with the theme "Advancing Under the Military Banner" - welcoming outstanding young people of Tuyen Quang City who will be enlisting in the army in 2025.


TPO - On the evening of February 12th, the Tuyen Quang City Youth Union, Tuyen Quang province, in coordination with the City Military Command and the City's Cultural, Communication and Sports Center, organized a cultural exchange program and traditional campfire with the theme "Advancing Under the Military Banner" - welcoming outstanding young people of Tuyen Quang City who will be enlisting in the army in 2025.

The program aims to raise awareness and educate the city's youth about their responsibility in fulfilling their military service obligations; and to preserve and promote the revolutionary traditions of Tuyen Quang City through generations.

This year, Tuyen Quang province has been assigned a quota of 1,388 new recruits for military and police service, including 1,150 for military service and 238 for police service. In Tuyen Quang City, 124 new recruits have already arrived to participate in the program, ready for their departure for military service.

Comrade Pham Quoc Chuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang City, presented certificates of commendation to outstanding young people who volunteered to participate in military service.

As one of the exemplary young people who volunteered for military service, new recruit Ha Ly Ky Anh, from Hamlet 5, Trang Da Commune, Tuyen Quang City (holding a certificate of commendation), shared: “I have always wanted to dedicate my youth to the Fatherland and train myself in the military environment to become more mature. When I received the conscription order, I was very proud and excited. Although I am a little worried about being away from my family, I believe this will be a valuable opportunity for me to learn, hone my skills, and contribute to protecting the country.”

Similarly, new recruit Tran Chi Bao, a conscripted soldier of the People's Public Security, is also ready to enlist.

Following the cultural exchange program, the leaders of Tuyen Quang City lit a sacred flame, the flame of heroic tradition, to welcome outstanding young people as they departed for military service.

The fire blazed brightly, and people held hands, forming a large circle, singing and dancing together in a lively atmosphere.
