After lengthy negotiations, Mohamed Salah has officially extended his contract with Liverpool until 2027. The "Egyptian King" will receive a salary of up to £400,000 per week, a significant increase from his previous £350,000 per week.
Salah enjoys a record-breaking salary in Liverpool's history, equal to Kevin De Bruyne's at Man City. Currently, Erling Haaland is the highest-paid player in the league, earning £500,000 per week from Man City.

According to the Telegraph , if all the additional clauses are met, Salah will earn around £25 million per season, equivalent to a salary increase to £480,000 per week. This is a very high figure compared to the average at Anfield.
Most of Liverpool's high-earning players only make around £200,000 a week. Virgil van Dijk is reportedly set to agree a two-year contract extension, with a salary increase to £220,000 a week – still significantly less than Salah's.
Joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017, Salah has become a living legend at Anfield with over 243 goals, including 32 this season, along with a host of major titles such as the Premier League and the Champions League.
Speaking after signing the contract, Salah expressed: "I'm really excited. We have a very strong squad right now. Even before this, the team was already great. I signed the new contract because I believe we can win more titles and enjoy football."
