The final round of the 2023-2024 Premier League season took place on the night of May 19. The title went to Manchester City, after coach Pep Guardiola's team defeated West Ham United 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Phil Foden shone with a double, helping Man City lead 2-0 in the first half, before Rodri scored to seal a 3-1 victory in the second half.
In the same match, rivals Arsenal came from behind to win 2-1 against Everton in their most important match at the Emirates this season.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kai Havertz scored to give Arsenal the win after Idrissa Gana Gueye put Everton ahead late in the first half. However, the win was not enough to help Mikel Arteta's side compete with Man City for the title.

After 38 rounds, Coach Pep Guardiola's Man City won 91 points, 2 points more than the Gunners, to win the Premier League championship this season.
This is the 10th time in history that Man City has won the Premier League championship, after being crowned in the seasons 1936-1937, 1967-1968, 2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023.
This achievement helps Man City rise to 4th place in the top teams with the most championships, behind Man Utd (20 times), Liverpool (19) and Arsenal (13).
With this season's championship, Man United set an "unprecedented" record by becoming the first team to win the Premier League four consecutive seasons. This record will certainly take a long time to be broken by another team as Man City is still showing such impressive performance.
The 2023-2024 season trophy won last night is also the 6th Premier League title for coach Pep Guardiola during his time leading Man City. The Spanish coach equals the achievements of Georg Ramsay (Aston Villa), Bob Paisley (Liverpool) and is only behind Alex Ferguson, who won the Premier League 13 times with Manchester United.
