Mark Zuckerberg believes it's better to spend a few hundred billion dollars wrongly than miss the AI opportunity. He stressed that if Meta hesitates, the company will fall behind in the race for artificial super intelligence.
Meta expects to spend at least $600 billion on AI infrastructure in the US by 2028. The move has investors worried about an AI bubble similar to the dot-com bubble of 2000.
Zuckerberg asserted that Meta is different from OpenAI or Anthropic because it has abundant funding and is less likely to go bankrupt. Meta is aggressively recruiting top AI researchers to build its “superintelligence” lab. However, many experts warn that the huge investment could put pressure on short-term profits.
Zuckerberg still believes the AI gamble will put Meta firmly in the lead in the new technological era. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash Cleaning | Hanoi 18:00
