CONFERENCE 3 — *Mr. Le Tri Thanh delivered a speech at the conference.*

Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, along with the Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong - co-chaired the conference.

According to the report of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, following the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, term 2019-2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province established four Advisory Councils of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, including: Ethnic Minorities - Religion; Democracy - Law; Economy - Society; and People's Diplomacy.

The total number of members of the Advisory Council is 24. The members are retired leaders who clearly demonstrate their dedication and enthusiasm in participating in surveys, monitoring, and social critique. The Advisory Council members actively and proactively advise and monitor the implementation of Resolution No. 23 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on mechanisms and policies to support the resettlement and stabilization of mountainous areas in the period 2021-2025; and the Law on Beliefs and Religions regarding educational , health, charitable, and humanitarian activities of religions.

At the same time, the committee proposed to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize three surveys on the implementation of democracy in land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement; participated in providing feedback on 40 draft legal documents; and conducted people-to-people diplomacy activities with the Lao Front Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Tri Thanh stated: “The activities of the Fatherland Front are very important in the political system, with the Party leading, the State managing, and the people as masters. The Fatherland Front expresses the voice of the people and represents all classes in society. The functions and tasks of the Fatherland Front have been enhanced in each stage. I believe that after the upcoming 14th National Party Congress, the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will be elevated to a new level, contributing more effectively and strongly to the socio-economic development of the locality and the whole country.”

Mr. Thanh also expressed his desire for the role and voice of the Advisory Board to help the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province reflect the pulse of life; to express its own opinions, demonstrate its character and wisdom, and distill the suggestions of its members and the Advisory Board. Through this, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will incorporate these suggestions within appropriate scope to have a voice with the authorities at all levels and the target groups of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province.

CONFERENCE 2 — Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province presented certificates of commendation to collectives that had excellently completed the action programs of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
