“No contribution is insignificant when it resonates towards a greater goal. We appreciate the companionship of individuals and organizations across the country, and domestic and international partners who have and will continue to work with MB to realize the goal of planting 1 million trees in Truong Sa island district,” emphasized MB Chairman Luu Trung Thai.
Planting one million trees in the Spratly Islands will not only create a green landscape on the map of our homeland, but will also have a comprehensive impact on the island's ecosystem. Trees help stabilize sand, prevent erosion, stop sand from blowing away and encroaching on the islands, and protect the structures and infrastructure on the islands.
Above all, the green landscape provides habitats for many species, contributing to the restoration and development of the ecosystem and creating natural balance. Trees provide shade, reduce temperature, create favorable conditions for agricultural production, and improve the quality of life for soldiers and civilians on the island.
