Almost a year has passed since Mbappe left PSG for Real Madrid, carrying with him the hope of winning the Champions League with the Spanish royal club. However, this season, the "White Eagles" were eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing to Arsenal 1-5 over two legs.

Conversely, after parting ways with stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe, many thought PSG would struggle without so many stars in their squad. However, the Parisian club has achieved unexpected success even without those prominent names.
Luis Enrique's team completed a quadruple this season after winning Ligue 1, the French Cup, the French Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. They became only the second French team to win the Champions League after Olympique Marseille in 1993.
Following this glorious victory, Mbappe posted a message on his personal Instagram account to congratulate his former team. "The big day everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived, with a victory that truly reflects the PSG team spirit. My deepest congratulations to the entire team," Mbappe wrote.
While a key player for PSG, the French striker set a record of scoring 255 goals and providing 108 assists in 296 matches, helping the club win 6 Ligue 1 titles, three French Cups, two French League Cups, and three French Super Cups.
In his final season at Parc des Princes, Mbappe scored 43 goals and provided ten assists in 46 appearances across all competitions. He won Ligue 1, the French Super Cup, and reached the French Cup final with the team, but was unable to lift the Champions League trophy, losing to Dortmund in the semi-finals.
At Real Madrid, Mbappe delivered impressive performances, but he has yet to win a major title with the team. Meanwhile, PSG made history with their historic treble.

Perhaps with Mbappe in the squad, PSG would still achieve good results, or even better ones, thanks to the skillful leadership of coach Enrique. However, the reality is that the French team can still achieve miracles even without this star player in the lineup.
Mbappe still has plenty of time to fulfill his dream of winning the Champions League. But witnessing his former team win the treble would be an unforgettable moment and also a motivation for the French player to continue pursuing his dream.
