Mbappe reacts as PSG wins Champions League

(Dan Tri) - Kylian Mabappe sent his congratulations to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) after the French team made history in the Champions League in the early morning of June 1.

It has been almost a year since Mbappe left PSG for Real Madrid, hoping to win the Champions League with the Spanish royal team. However, this season, the "White Vultures" had to stop at the quarter-finals after losing 1-5 to Arsenal after 2 matches.

On the contrary, after saying goodbye to stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar or Mbappe, many people thought PSG would have difficulties without many stars in the squad. However, the French capital team was more successful than expected without the famous names of the past.

Luis Enrique's side completed a quadruple this season after winning Ligue 1, the French Cup, the French Super Cup and the UEFA Champions League. They became the second French team to win the Champions League after Olympique Marseille in 1993.

After this glorious achievement, Mbappe posted on his personal Instagram to congratulate his former team. “The big day that everyone has been waiting for has finally arrived, with a victory that is truly a collective victory for PSG. My deepest congratulations to the whole team,” Mbappe wrote.

As a mainstay of PSG, the French striker set a record of 255 goals and 108 assists in 296 matches, helping the club win 6 Ligue 1, three French Cups, two French League Cups and three French Super Cups.

In his final season at the Parc des Princes, Mbappe scored 43 goals and provided ten assists in 46 games across all competitions. He won Ligue 1, the French Super Cup, and reached the French Cup final, but was unable to win the Champions League, losing to Dortmund in the semi-finals.

At Real Madrid, Mbappe showed impressive performances, but he still could not achieve a major title with this team. Meanwhile, PSG made history with a great treble.
