In the program Confessions, Cong Vo said he came to the acting profession by accident. In a club activity, he was chosen to play a small role without dialogue in the movie "The Judge". During filming, because his co-star could not speak, the director gave him a chance.
“At that time, I was happy because I fulfilled my passion and met People's Artist Hoang Dung. My father (informally called) told me: "Even a small role makes up the scene of the movie, so no role can be turned down". I just take that sentence as a guideline,” he shared.
Although he was not trained in school, Cong Vo is highly appreciated for his acting skills, especially in radio.
Before entering the artistic path, he went through a difficult time, having to make a living at the bus station. These are valuable experiences for him to bring real life material into his roles.

Behind the screen, Cong Vo said that he was unlucky to be born in an incomplete family. Dad works far away, he lives with his grandmother. Up to this point, he said that his mother still did not recognize him.

When he was in 7th grade, he dropped out of school to work because he saw himself as a burden to his family. This is a decision he regrets. His teenage days were the time to roll around at the bus station to work as a car assistant to earn a living.
Regarding the story related to the biological mother, the actor The Judge did not disclose because he kept his promise with his deceased father. “Before he died, my father told me not to ask that question on television. So I apologize for not asking because by now I have the answer," he confided.
The actor's married life is not smooth. It hurts me when I'm in the same situation as you. As a father, Cong Vo chooses to be friends with his children, not forcing them but letting them develop naturally.
He confided: “I feel pain when my children are in the same situation as me. I used to write: "Sorry son, I don't know if it's dad or fate but this has happened. I just want you to be healthy and forgive me for this,” he said.
Cong Vo said he did not impose but let the child develop naturally. The actor "The Judge" affirmed that he never spoke harshly to the baby.
Cong Vo is grateful for the past difficulties for giving him many lessons and motivation to strive to rise up in life. "Hopefully now my life is normal again, no more incidents," the actor confided.
