According to Bleeping Computer , the Microsoft outage occurred around 2 PM on May 23rd and appears to have affected users most significantly in Asia and Europe. Based on user reports and Bleeping Computer's testing, opening Bing.com resulted in a blank page or a 429 HTTP error message. However, Bing search still worked when accessed directly. For some reason, the issue only affected Bing's homepage.

To use Bing, you can go to www.bing.com and search as usual. However, Copilot is completely offline whether you use the website, app, or Copilot in Windows. Another point to note is that internet searches on ChatGPT and DuckDuckGo also have problems because they use the Bing API.

DuckDuckGo refused to load the page and displayed the error message: "There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again."

Microsoft has confirmed that users may be unable to access the Microsoft Copilot service. On social media platform X, the company stated that it is working to isolate the cause of the issue.

Currently, the Microsoft service disruption issue has not yet been resolved.
