Microsoft is expanding its $20-a-month Copilot Pro subscription to more markets after launching its consumer AI assistant last January. Microsoft is now offering a one-month free trial to entice users to sign up for its AI assistant.
Copilot Pro launches a one-month free trial to attract more customers.
Copilot Pro includes priority access to the latest OpenAI models, the ability to build your own Copilot GPT, and access to Copilot within Office applications if you have a Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscription. Now, Microsoft is also unlocking Copilot Pro within Office web applications, so users don't need a separate Microsoft 365 subscription to use chatbots within Word, Outlook, and other free web applications.
This Copilot Pro integration will also soon be available in mobile applications. Divya Kumar, general manager of AI search and marketing at Microsoft, stated: "We will also be extending this benefit to free mobile applications, including Microsoft 365 and Outlook on iOS and Android in the coming months."
To try Copilot Pro, users need to install the Copilot app on iOS or Android to receive a free one-month trial. Microsoft has been trying to entice consumers to use the Copilot mobile app since its launch in late 2023, including a Super Bowl advertisement focused solely on the mobile version.
