Over the next 3-6 hours, the provinces of Son La and Thanh Hoa will continue to experience rainfall of 10-30 mm, with some areas exceeding 50 mm; Phu Tho will receive 20-40 mm, with some areas exceeding 60 mm. In Hanoi, at 9 PM, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued a warning about the strong development of convective clouds, causing thunderstorms in areas including communes and wards such as Yen Xuan, Son Tay, Doai Phuong, Quang Oai, Co Do, Vat Lai, Phu Cat, Ha Bang, Hoa Lac, etc. Rain is expected to continue for the next four hours, expanding to other communes and wards.
Please note that thunderstorms are occurring amidst high temperatures and an atmosphere already heated over the past few days, so people need to be extremely cautious about the risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. The forecast for May 28th indicates continued hot weather in Northern Vietnam, with some areas experiencing intense heat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected from late afternoon onwards, with localized heavy rain. The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City will experience intense heat during the day, with some areas experiencing exceptionally intense heat, followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
