According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 30-31, Southern Vietnam and Lam Dong province will experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with localized very heavy rain. Rainfall amounts will generally range from 40-80mm, with some areas exceeding 200mm. There is a risk of intense rainfall, with precipitation potentially exceeding 100mm in just 3 hours.

On June 4-5, Hanoi will experience showers and thunderstorms again, with a maximum temperature of 33-35°C and a minimum temperature of 27°C. These thunderstorms following days of hot weather pose a risk of dangerous weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

During the last two days of the forecast period (June 7-8), Hanoi experienced few clouds and a return to hot, sunny weather with a maximum temperature of 35°C and a minimum temperature of 28°C.
