The Northeast Heritage Region Opens Autumn Festival

(CLO) On the evening of October 25th, the art program "Binh Lieu - The Harvest Festival" kicked off the series of events for the Binh Lieu Culture and Tourism Week 2024, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

With nearly 20 activities spanning from the end of October to December 2024, the Binh Lieu Culture and Tourism Week 2024 (Quang Ninh) promises to take visitors on a captivating journey of discovery amidst the autumn scenery and unique cultural identity of the northeastern border region.

On the evening of October 25th, the audience enjoyed emotionally rich artistic performances that told stories about the culture, customs, and unique beauty of the Tay, Dao, and San Chi ethnic groups. Through these performances, the message about Binh Lieu – a land of historical, cultural, and stunning natural beauty – was deeply conveyed, sparking curiosity and admiration in visitors.

Binh Lieu impresses not only with its majestic landscapes but also with its unique cultural activities. The autumn festival, the So flower festival, the Tay people's new rice harvest festival, and the traditional market... each event is imbued with the spirit of the mountains and forests and the hospitality of the people of this border region.

Notably, for the first time, the Quang Ninh Provincial Women's Ethnic Football Tournament will take place within the framework of the festival, along with a series of cultural and sporting activities and folk games, creating a joyful and vibrant festival atmosphere.

When visiting Binh Lieu, tourists will be captivated by the pristine beauty of the golden terraced rice fields, the romantic hills covered with reeds, or the challenge of the famous Dinosaur's Backbone.

With its "Flying over the Golden Season" paragliding experience and distinctive OCOP products, Binh Lieu is becoming a new highlight on the Quang Ninh tourism map. Beyond just sightseeing, the festival also raises community awareness about preserving and promoting cultural heritage, fostering sustainable tourism.
