Accordingly, the competition venue is located in Binh Lieu commune, which has made a strong impression with the image of San Chi female players competing in traditional costumes.

For a long time, women's football has been a special activity in the Palm Wave Festival of the San Chi people in Huc Dong commune (formerly Binh Lieu district). Every afternoon after going to the fields, San Chi women in traditional costumes enthusiastically go to the field. In Huc Dong commune alone, there are currently 4 women's clubs in Na Ech, Po Dan, Luc Ngu, Khe Mo villages that regularly interact and compete with each other and with neighboring ethnic minority women's teams. The attraction of "traditional costume" football matches has become a unique tourist highlight of Binh Lieu.

From the “cradle” of San Chi, the movement spread, attracting many other ethnic minority girls in the province to play football. In 2024, Quang Ninh province organized the first Quang Ninh Ethnic Minority Women's Football Tournament within the framework of the Binh Lieu Golden Season Festival (October 2024), gathering 7 teams with players being ethnic minority women from Vo Ngai, Hoanh Mo, Luc Hon, Huc Dong communes, Binh Lieu central area, Tien Yen area and Binh Lieu High School.

Hosting the first national tournament in Binh Lieu is expected to elevate a local cultural and sports value into a unique tourism product, while also adding momentum to the mass sports movement in border areas.
