Accordingly, the competition venue is located in Binh Lieu commune, which made a strong impression with the image of the San Chi female players competing in their traditional costumes.

For a long time, women's football has been a distinctive activity in the Soóng Cọ Festival of the Sán Chỉ people in Húc Động commune (formerly Bình Liêu district). Every afternoon after working in the fields, Sán Chỉ women in their traditional dresses enthusiastically take to the field. In Húc Động commune alone, there are currently four women's football clubs in the villages of Nà Ếch, Pò Đán, Lục Ngù, and Khe Mó, which regularly interact and compete with each other and with women's teams from neighboring ethnic minorities. The allure of these "traditional dress" football matches has become a unique tourist attraction of Bình Liêu.
Originating from the San Chi ethnic minority community, the movement spread, attracting many other ethnic minority girls in the province to play football. In 2024, Quang Ninh province organized the first Quang Ninh Ethnic Minority Women's Football Tournament within the framework of the Binh Lieu Golden Harvest Festival (October 2024), bringing together 7 teams with players from ethnic minority women from the communes of Vo Ngai, Hoanh Mo, Luc Hon, Huc Dong, the central area of Binh Lieu, the Tien Yen area, and Binh Lieu High School.
Hosting the first national championship in Binh Lieu is expected to elevate a local cultural and sporting value into a unique tourism product, while also providing further impetus to the mass sports movement in the border region.
