Every drop of blood donated

Participating in blood donation is a joy for me.

Every drop of blood donated saves a life.

Captain Hoang Dinh Trung, a youth union member of the Economic Security Department's Youth Union, Provincial Police, participated in blood donation at the "17th Red Sunday - 2025" voluntary blood donation event.

Captain Hoang Dinh Trung, a youth union member of the Economic Security Department's Youth Union, Provincial Police, shared: "Through monitoring information on social media, newspapers, and television, I have seen many cases of patients in critical condition due to work accidents or serious illnesses who desperately need blood transfusions to overcome their 'near-death' situation. However, for various reasons such as the hospital's blood reserves running out or the blood type not matching the patient's, or relatives living far away unable to donate blood in time, the patients cannot overcome their critical condition. This motivated me to act and participate in voluntary blood donation whenever my agency or unit launches a campaign. At the same time, I actively encourage colleagues, family, and friends to participate as well."

To date, I have participated in 15 voluntary blood donations. “The first time I donated blood, I was nervous and anxious, but afterwards, I felt very happy because I had done something meaningful. Each time I donate blood, I feel proud and happy, and I will continue to donate blood as long as my health allows.”

For many years, Captain Trung has consistently participated in the voluntary blood donation movement, receiving numerous commendations and awards for his outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation and blood donation advocacy. His enthusiasm, energy, and dedication have become a driving force, spreading meaningful and valuable humanitarian values within the voluntary blood donation movement.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act.

Every drop of blood donated saves a life.

Ms. Le Thi Loan, Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Hai Ward ( Thanh Hoa City), participated in blood donation at the "17th Red Sunday - 2025" voluntary blood donation event.

Le Thi Loan, Secretary of the Dong Hai Ward Youth Union (Thanh Hoa City), first started participating in voluntary blood donation in 2008 while she was a freshman at university. Since then, she has consistently been a pioneer and enthusiastically participates in blood donation drives every year. At least once a year, she donates 250ml of blood each time, and to date, she has voluntarily donated her blood 19 times, contributing to saving the lives of patients in need.

At the same time, she is also an exemplary Youth Union official, actively encouraging family, friends, relatives, and colleagues to participate in voluntary blood donation to save lives with the spirit of "One drop of blood given - One life saved," helping many people get the necessary blood supply, promptly treat illnesses, and take care of their health.

Ms. Loan shared: "I've always believed that voluntary blood donation helps save the lives of patients who need blood transfusions, and it's also a way to check my own health through blood test results. Every time I participate in blood donation, I realize the importance of these voluntary blood donations. There are so many critically ill patients waiting for volunteers to give them a lifeline through their compassionate blood. Blood can wait for patients, but patients cannot wait for blood. This motivates me even more to actively participate in voluntary blood donation and encourage my relatives and friends to do the same."
