A tranquil Thai Mai Chau village

Located about 160km from Hanoi , Mai Chau town is home to five ethnic groups, with the Muong and Thai people making up the majority. Mai Chau lies within a large basin, surrounded by high mountains like a fortress. The climate here is always cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
