A peaceful Thai Mai Chau village

About 160km from Hanoi , Mai Chau town is home to 5 ethnic groups, of which the Muong and Thai people make up the majority. Mai Chau lies in a large basin, surrounded by high mountains like ramparts. The climate here is always cooler than other places in the summer, and warmer in the winter.
