"The hand-held flags cost 10,000 VND each, and the flag stickers cost 5,000 VND for two pieces. Anyone who buys a flag will receive a sticker as a souvenir," Ms. Phuong said as she stuck a sticker printed with a bright red Vietnamese flag on our hands.
Bustling shopping for meaningful holidays
On the occasion of her granddaughter's birthday, which is close to the April 30 holiday, Ms. Thanh Hoai (55 years old) decided to buy a T-shirt printed with the national flag and a lovely national flag in her hand as a gift.

"This afternoon, I took my niece to get a cake, but she kept looking at the national flag hanging on the street, so that evening I bought her a gift. It's both meaningful and beautiful. On April 30th, the kids will also have shirts to participate in the ceremony," Ms. Hoai shared.
Although the price is a little higher than usual, it is not worth much to many customers because it is only once in a while that there is a meaningful occasion to "wear" the national flag.
Many young people also choose to wear T-shirts printed with the national flag because it is "both economical and meaningful" for the upcoming April 30th holiday.

"Normally, when we go to take pictures, we spend a lot of money on clothes. But wearing this T-shirt only costs 80,000 VND each. It's economical and still beautiful," Diem Quynh happily said.
These days, walking on the streets or in fashion stores, everywhere you can see joyful eyes, eagerly preparing costumes and accessories for the great occasion, to have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the jubilant atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day.
The brilliant red color not only covers the stalls and streets, but also warms the hearts of every citizen during these special holidays.
