Having traveled over 20 km to bring his wife and children here for a spring outing and to take photos with the pair of snake mascots, Tran Tan Bao (28 years old), residing in Ha Lam town, Thang Binh district ( Quang Nam province), shared: “Every year my wife and I come here for a spring outing. This morning we arrived at 9 am. This year the square is beautifully decorated with many fresh flowers, especially the pair of snake mascots which are extremely eye-catching.”

Bao said that because so many people wanted to take photos with the snake mascot, they had to queue to wait for their turn. "I was most impressed with the incredibly powerful cobra, which was carved with exquisite detail and precision," Bao said.

While happily capturing New Year's photos with her mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (35 years old), residing in Tien My commune, Tien Phuoc district (Quang Nam province), said: “This is the first time my mother and I have come here to celebrate the New Year. I find the scenery here very beautiful, the atmosphere is lively and bustling, and everyone is happy. I like the pair of snake mascots the most, because of their bright and eye-catching yellow color, hoping for a prosperous and lucky new year.”
Because there were quite a few people waiting to check in with the snake mascots, Thuy and her daughter prioritized taking photos with the scenic backdrops such as the apricot blossom tree and the flower house first.

This square is also a familiar spring outing spot for Nguyen Linh Anh (24 years old), residing in Binh Phu commune, Thang Binh district (Quang Nam province). The Gen Z girl shared: “Every year, it's decorated with lots of fresh flowers, creating a very spring-like atmosphere. Especially this year, I noticed there are images of all 12 zodiac animals here, not just the snake. The animals are all decorated in a very cute and adorable way.”
Many people wear coats, hats, and carry umbrellas when going out for spring outings.
